Pierce Brosnan Says ‘Many, Many Hardships’ Strengthened His Marriage to Wife Keely Shaye Smith

Pierce Brosnan, 70, believes he and wife Keely Shaye Smith, 60, are stronger for all they’ve endured together.

In a December 12 interview, he shared, “We love each other a lot. We’ve seen many hardships as families do.”

Brosnan, who met Smith in 1994 after his first wife’s death, described their journey as spiritual.

They married in 2001 and have two sons. Brosnan values Smith’s support and carries her with him, even wearing his wedding ring on screen.
