Elliot Costello met a young girl named Thea in Cambodia, whose experience with sexual abuse deeply moved him. She asked him to paint one of his nails, which he kept as a reminder of her suffering.

This inspired Elliot to launch the #PolishedMan movement, where men paint one nail to represent the one in five children who experience sexual abuse.

The campaign aims to change men’s attitudes, raise awareness, and support educational programs for child survivors.
